an overflow of words

I know religion is a very sensitive subject, so I shall try to be as tactful as possible.

A few days ago, while walking back home by myself after visiting my ahma, a group of girls approached me and asked, "Are you a Christian?" I said, "No, I'm a Hindu."

... what happened next was totally unexpected.

"You should join Christianity! If you do not become one of us, you'll be condemned to Hell. When revelation comes, you will not be saved! You will burn in Hell! Christianity is the one true religion. Join us, and be saved!"

Huh what the hell just happened? Did someone just tell me that God will send me to Hell just because I'm not part of his minions?

And isn't the Christian God all-forgiving and loving anyway?

I continued to stare at them in complete wonderment. Who are these people and why are they disgracing their religion by being complete fucktards?

One of the girl quipped in, after a minute of complete silence:

"If you're not a Christian, when you die, Jesus won't wash away your sins. You will come to Heaven with your sins and God, upon seeing you, will condemn you to burn in Hell for eternity. Do you really want to be in eternal damnation? Convert to Christianity!"

Then another girl:

"Yes, exactly! And you won't be truly happy without God in your life. God loves you, but if you can't accept him, then he won't help you."

Are you rendered speechless yet? I was totally speechless. I couldn't even say anything!! I was being attacked by 5 girls! I was scared that if I told them what's going through my head, I'll be verbally assaulted and I was rushing to meet my parents to eat ice-cream at Swensens, so I kept quiet. While in my head, I was going:

Okay, you claim that God loves me. And that if I don't accept him, he won't help me and I'll be condemned in hell for eternal damnation. I won't be saved and I won't be salvaged and my sins will be the ultimate death of me. What a big fucking contradiction! God LOVES me! He LOVES me, so why would he want me to BURN for all eternity?! And what is this bullshit that I won't be 'truly happy'?! That's like saying a drunken man is happier than a sober man. And they just insulted MY religion by saying MY God won't save ME. Oh man, these people are INSANE. I'm sure THEIR God would rather have spiritual fruits rather than religious nuts like them. AAAAAAAAAAH

Meanwhile, the girls were looking hopefully at me, hoping that I would "save myself from eternal damnation" by joining them in their insanity. I got frustrated so I just said, "Okay I'll think about it, bye."

The first girl who walked to me then hastily said, "Wait! We need your number, so we can contact you and confirm if you're going to our church on Saturday."

...

I stared at them and gave them the angriest face I could give. And promptly walked away. And they didn't chase after me, so that's that.

SO ANNOYING! Okay, I get it that you want more people to be part of your religion. But don't go around spreading blasphemy, especially of other religions! They could actually be jailed, if someone called the police and complain about them. -__- Remember in June, when a Christian couple were jailed after they approached several religious people and told them that their religion is invalid and that Christianity is the "true" religion? Tsk. Offended by these Christian girls. >:(

Meanwhile, I hope that this post haven't offend any of you Christians. I respect your religion, I just don't respect the Christians who tell me that I will be condemned.
