Had lunch with Jennifer + Jingting + Shuman at the hawker center opposite our school after dismissal,


then went back to school at 1.30pm to discuss about the debate. I'm dying! T.T A lot of information to digest, a lot of analyzing to be done, a lot of rules, etc. :( :( :( Cannot wait for the debate to be over!

I like free periods! :) Get to use the notebook hehe. Supposed to be doing my F&N coursework, but I'm so lazy. :B Carolyn's at oddee.com so she's even worse than me :p Anyway, we have two weeks to complete it, so.... :D

Need to stay back till 3pm in school today, last debate practice. TOMORROW'S THE REAL THING. So exciting. :B I'm terrified that I'll be so nervous that I'll forget all the points. -_-

Just realized it'll be my 6th month anniversary with Junhao this month. xD Shiok, half a year together soon. Hehe. Remembered mentioning this to Junhao and his reply was like, "So? Half a year only. I want it to be like, forever." :p :p :p

Really excited about Saturday; my first official debate! :B :B :B Hehehe.
And as for the September holidays, I'll be utilizing the extra time to study. ^^ I'm so serious about my studies, heh. But what am I to do, Singapore is so academic-focused that if you fail one subject, it will affect your future drastically~ T.T

Or maybe it's just because the fact that my Os is just about a year away is very frightening.

Hmmmm, talked to Raina for a while today, she's very friendly, I like. ^^



On a random note, I really like how I am right now. :) I've become so much stronger; whenever I went through a heartbreak, I would lose grip of myself, I would become an emotional wreck. But now, I found I could survive. I was alert, I still felt the pain - the aching loss that radiated from my chest, sending wrecking waves of hurt through my limbs and head - but it was manageable. I could live through it. I didn't feel like the pain had weakened over time, but rather that I'd grown strong enough to bear it.

I guess I've realize now that when your heart breaks, you’ve got to fight like hell to make sure you’re still alive. Because that pain you feel? That’s life. The confusion and fear; that’s there to remind you that somewhere out there, something is better. That something is worth fighting for. As we strain to grasp the things we desire, the things that we think will make our lives better, we ignore what truly matters – the simple things. Like family and friendship. Yes, losing your heart’s desire is tragic but gaining your heart’s desire is all you can hope for. This year I wished for love, to immerse myself in someone else and awake a heart long afraid to feel. My wish was granted, and if having that is tragic, then give me tragedy, because I wouldn’t give it back for the world. ;)
